Yeaaa i really am thinking between z and kai i will probably do a poll and just go with whT the people want. But its true the thing is im still enjoying it but sometimes it drags so long i searched it up and yea the manga is fine but just like u said Toei makes it way longer but its fine for right now im still enjoying it!!

I’m jumping the gun way early here, but if you don’t like this, then I REALLY recommend you to watch DBZ Kai instead of DBZ. The last arc of DBZ was 100 episodes long(!!) Kai condensed it to 60-something episodes. You can imagine what sort of unnecessary padding was in the 120 episodes they managed to shave off in total. There’s a popular funny driving license episode, and I think that’s the only popular filler episode that’s worthwhile and beloved. This isn’t even touching on how the original DBZ and the English dub changed Goku’s personality. Even Toriyama complained. OG DB was dubbed in English after Z, so the cast were more accurate at portraying Goku by then
