The field is more attractive to psychopaths whereas people who care about people do not do well as doctors. Doctors fail too much for someone that overly cares to survive in a doctor requires a certain degree of detachment from your patience, which is why people with psychopathic tendencies are more likely to do well in the field

And you just have no idea about how much they helped you or loved you. I imagine Frieda didn’t enjoy it much either, but it had to be done considering nobody was supposed to know she was there.
