Some of my fave Adele songs on this album, When We Were Young, Water Under the Bridge (I lived this song when this came it and it fucked me up), and All I Ask. Can't wait for you 30 reaction. Just such an incredible collection of songs and Jesus, THE VOCALS. I love your mention of them sounding like 1 take. Ive never realized it but youre so right! It makes it feel so much more personal. Cant wait to have my soul ripped to shreds listening to 30 with you!!!

2021-11-18 21:44:02 +0000 UTCI am in the middle of watching this video (Barely on I Miss you ) and from what I remember when the album came out, my interpretation of this song was that she missed the sex of the relationship. I felt the beats of the drum were also very sexual. Like the lyrics even (Not to be too explicit but like "Harder Baby") i thought this was a nice contrast to her later song "Love in the Dark which to me is an apology of not wanting to be with someone inanimately. Its so fantastic. (Also reminds me of Dance in the Dark by Lady Gaga another song about sex and insecurities) Also your reactions to Adele are the BEST>
