It shows some of the performances and a lot of commentary from the girls, judges, and others. It also shows what happened during the week following the win, ( press and promo). It is a 45 min video, but is still a MUST watch for any Little Mix fan. Mike, if you have the time,, please watch this version as it may answer alot of the questions you had watching the Journey video. 2021-12-20 05:40:52 +0000 UTCI've always felt that Jade has been the strong vocal bridge of Little Mix, and I agree with you that she really does sound the same now as she did then. She already had it together, knew her identity and her middle name is control. I really believe she is the secret weapon and ace of the group that can just turn on a whim and do anything with her voice. Perrie is the power with a capital P and always has been, and aside from having her tonsils removed and that changing the nature of her voice a bit, I do agree that she has definitely improved over the years as well. Leigh we can all agree gets the award for most improved over the years, and unfortunately was also the most neglected during this beginning stage in regards to having the least amount of lines, so she really didn't have many chances to shine, but when she did she showed that she always had it within her when given the chance, just needed a bit of refining. And Jess is just Jess. She can be shaky at times, other times stronger, she also improved over the years. This was a wonderful and long-awaited reaction to watch, and I consider it a great Christmas present so thank you Michael from one Mixer to another.

2021-12-19 10:18:34 +0000 UTCI remember watching them all the way up until the final and then I was in Australia for the actual final and missed it 😂 I definitely feel the latter half of the competition is where they shone. At the start, I feel Tulisa was trying too hard to make them ‘urban’ and that coupled with the backing instrumentation drowning them out week after week, makes me think in hindsight they were very lucky to get through those earlier weeks. I do feel some of Gary’s comments, particularly on If I Were A Boy were strategic. He knew the girls were good and was trying to discredit them to bolster Marcus’s efforts. Speaking of, Marcus later said he was told by production he’d lost before he’d even walked into the stage for the winner’s announcement so I wonder if the girls knew too? 🤔 They did genuinely seemed stunned when their name was called so maybe not. Music aside, the X Factor stylists did them all dirty and I’ll never forgive them for that 😂 R.I.P Leigh’s hair 💀 That was at the time Rihanna had red hair and Cassie had shaved half her head off so I think they were trying to model her on other big American POC singers, instead of allowing her her own identity. Anyways, another great reaction Michael. Had to split it into two sessions as it was so long and my other half was complaining he wanted to go to bed last night and I still had 50 minutes to go 🤣 Have a great Christmas and I look forward to the tour reactions!

2021-12-19 07:45:36 +0000 UTCThe judges were trying to advance their candidates to the final so some of them were going after Little Mix intentionally and it was very obvious, even to the audience. Little Mix went to the finals and beat Kelly and Gary's candidates so the strategy didn't work.

In comparison, Jesy had never done a harmony until she did one with the girls and hadn't sung publicly since she was a kid doing Annie. Perrie sang a lot at home and in school but not professional experience. Leigh was also kind of pursuing music but not the way Jade was. The conversation between Jesy and Jade was actually forced onto Jesy. Producers found her crying one night and asked her if she wanted to talk to the other girls about it and she said no and they pushed her so she agreed if they wouldn't film it but then they filmed it secretly and aired it.
