Yule Log (Dec. 2014)
Added 2016-10-04 01:47:44 +0000 UTCI don't understand a Yule Log. Like, why? Why does it exist? Why must it be a log? And why is it inherently festive? So many questions.

Maybe it's because I really didn't grow up with them as a major part of my Christmas celebration. But they always struck me as weird.

2016-10-05 03:30:30 +0000 UTCIt represents the actual log of wood that people would burn at Christmas (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yule_log" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yule_log).</a> In fact, before I saw this, I didn't realize that the term could also refer to a Swiss roll.
