Weekly Update - 2/10/19

1964 is the year Marvel slows the rapid expansion of their roster of new series and started fleshing out what they've already established. The first half of the year thaws out Captain America from the Golden Age, gives Magneto a Brotherhood to command, and introduces Hawkeye and Black Widow (as villains?!). There are still big gaps in quality between series, but as we have the previous two years, you can see the improvements, almost issue by issue! Stick around, because over the next two years, we're going to start seeing some of the all-time great Marvel stories being told!

Oh, and because I've gotten this question a couple times: yes, the new My Marvelous Year reading club will extend well past the end of 2019. The plan is to go to the end of the list (2010) and maybe even beyond! This will definitely take more than one year, so get comfy!
