New Video: Exploring Neopets Knockoff Sites && New Kitten Update

I am back with a new video!

I spent a very long time on this since I feel bad about being absent for a while, so it's longer and wayyy more edited than any video I've put on Patreon before! I've always been curious about these "sites like Neopets" but never bothered to look at any, so I explored a bunch of different virtual pet sites for this video.

It's a lot of fun looking at weird websites like these so I could see myself doing this again; there's SO MANY virtual pet sites and I don't think many will be preserved very well so it would be fun to do a closer look at more.

Other stuff

I've been working on other projects too that I'm trying to get uploaded ASAP! I'm working on the edit for the next main channel video right now that will be close to an hour long. I don't have a lot of footage to work with so I'm trying to get cool looking b-roll from games to match, and it's taking forever haha, but hopefully it will be out within the next couple (or few) weeks! I wanted to actually come back with all three of these next videos ready but it was taking too long, I didn't want to update on here without having stuff to show for it so then I put more effort into this virtual pet site video.

This main channel video also has another patreon video that will go up alongside it - it's yet again going to be a video where I look at some extremely obscure websites. The script is almost done for that, I'm trying to record it this weekend. Apparently I just love talking about weird niche websites!

If there's any topics you would like to me to look into feel free to email me or message me on Patreon! I have been historically bad about checking these in the past but I just set it up so I can check these on my phone so that I'm better about it haha.

I also have a script about Catz for the GBA that I wrote while I was too sad to think about literally anything other than cats, but tonally it was too weird because I talked about my dying cat in it?? There's some stuff in there that I do like so I may make it more normal and post it on my main channel, otherwise if it still feels too embarrassing I will post it on here. The original title was "My cat is dying so I played Catz for GBA" which made me laugh at the time but there's no way I would do that now haha.

New kitten!

My kitty Simon ended up passing away and it was even worse than I even thought it would be! I'm STILL so sad about it and I will miss him forever. He was the cuddliest, chillest cat ever and loved absolutely everyone (and food).

But I did get a new kitten! I was going to wait until maybe next summer to get another cat, but after Simon died, his brother Henry had like a complete meltdown. For weeks, if I wasn't literally five feet of him, he would meow constantly for HOURS until he got all hoarse. It was scary!

I was lucky enough to somehow find the cutest kitten in the entire universe at the humane society - I named her Sofia! I only give cats human names but she also goes by squirrel and chipmunk because she reminds me of those more than a cat haha.

And I was extremely lucky that my cat Henry basically adopted her immediately and is way happier now!
