An American 5.56 rifle that's not an AR15?!

In this video we talk about the history of the Mini14, a rifle that has had a lot of influence over both pop and firearms culture since the 1980's.

It's not an Ar15, but how does it measure up?

An American 5.56 rifle that's not an AR15?!

I had to laugh out loud when I saw the insert of that Colt ad--the officer's stance and grip! Then, just to add the topper, the very next insert shows Hannibal from the A-Team *actually shouldering the rifle and aiming down the sights.* I didn't think that ever happened!

Ranch version my first semi auto back in 1984 in Australia when you could still own one i added the folding stock, bipod. flash suppressor (not AC-556 one) same one as used in A-Team)had 40&30 round mags plus had a scope as well. Not super accurate but good enough for aussie pig shooting back when i was young. And yes A-Team was a show i watched a lot so i had to own one.Got photos to prove it :) Thousands of commercial factory ammo plus a lot of exmil ammo put through it as well such an easy rifle to take down and clean. Not 1 malfunction.
