Fake accounts, unreached goals and rigged votes

Hello sweetlings! ~

I'm not sure how to handle this in a polite and effective manner, but I wanted to share some thoughts.

There appears to be a few bots and even fewer people who join without any actual pledging do either push the scale to reach a goal OR see the pages , possibly snatch them and then leave or show up as fraudulent accounts.

This is a problem for creators and sadly at the moment I can't even turn on the option that lets pledges process though without it having to take a month to see whether someone is legit or not. I wish it wasn't so easy to create these accounts, but I'm not gonna point a finger at the site for that, I'm sure it's quite a complex issue for a lot of folks.

Since I can't do anything with these accounts, I guess I'd just like to ask everyone not to trust the numbers either, be skeptical if you see a large increase all of a sudden. By no means do I intend to hide the total, I want to be clear and honest with my audience, but sadly I cannot provide the content according to goals if the goal is not reached. So please, be aware that the number might lie and I hope these random peaks won't scare off anyone who genuinely wishes to contribute. :/

I do however want to say this to scammers: you CAN'T rig the votes. I can see a list of everyone who votes and I'll simply disqualify yours. Don't try to play dirty, please.

I don't want any drama and crap, just clear things up for everyone is all.

I'd also like to take the time to thank everyone who's been helping the growth of the page, it really, really means a lot! I hope you will enjoy the comic and the many adventures of Amber and the others we'll encounter in the future! ;)
