Chapter 10 – Morphing Skill

The next day after turning the table on Liza-san and her men and gaining total control of Empress Brigade.

Alicia and I returned once more to the fortress city and headed to the shop of the amazingly skilled blacksmith Weips-san.

If asked why we were visiting Weips-san’s shop again today after  doing the same yesterday, it was to hand the fund for creating magic  weapon.

To create magic weapon, expensive materials created by manufacturing  type Gift were also needed to be purchased. It didn’t stop with just the  azure dragon material that I had given.

And so we needed to first get the budget estimate from Weips-san.  Which was why today we brought with us the request expense to be given  to Weips-san who had finished calculating the rough estimate of the  required expenses.

Like that Alicia and I warped to the fortress city using Local Wife through Regina.

「As expected isn’t this abandonment play lasting too long my  master!?」 Regina said that while hugging my lower body, and Alicia took  advantage of that and started taking off clothes. I somehow pacified  them and headed toward Weips-san’s shop but…….

Automatic Morphing: Mimicry type skill that enabled the user to morph  into the form that suited the target’s liking. The morphing’s accuracy  and variable range will change depending on the strength of the target’s  desire. The morphing will be dispelled when getting too far from the  target.

When I tried checking the ability with Appraisal Crystal, it seemed  to be the type of [mimicry skill] that was rare even in the whole world.

But, the skill this time was just unusual and didn’t seem to have an ability that was overly absurd.

Based from what I read at the explanatory note, it was a skill that  transformed you to the target’s preference, and on top of that its  lasting power was nonexistent. It looked like it wasn’t something that  could allow you to transform into someone so you could infiltrate a  place or escape.

And most of all, the skill also didn’t seem like it could transform a  third party――Alicia who was the one I wanted to hide the most.

Well, the explanation that could be obtained through Appraisal  Crystal wasn’t everything by all means, so perhaps I would be able to  find some kind of amazing benefit after actually using it and confirming  its function with my own body but……I guess I’ll postpone doing that for  later.

「After all it looks like you need help from a third party to activate  this morphing skill. Regina who I can order to be silent even if she  learn about Incubus……might go wild (sexually) again, so I’ll ask for the  cooperation of Stacy-san or Liza-san later.」

With Alicia being pursued by the church, it would be better for me  who was accompanying her to not attract attention as much as possible  too. In that case the number of people I could ask for the skill  checking was limited, so it looked like I wouldn’t be able to  immediately check the skill’s performance immediately.

If that was the reason then I should just ask Alicia for help wasn’t it? At first I thought like that but,

「……I love Erio the most so……I think Erio will stay as Erio even if you morph using that skill you know?」

Alicia’s words were embarrassing to hear, but at the same time it was really persuasive that I instantly got convinced.

Besides, if the result of the morphing by using Alicia as the target  was by some chance another form than me, as expected I would be hit by  shock in a not small amount…….

Like that we were curious by the specifics of the new skill while  switching the direction of our thought and headed to Weips-san’s place.

「Ou, you guys’re here! I already finished calculating the budget for indestructible magic weapon!」

When we showed ourselves in the weapon shop that looked like it would  crumble anytime now like usual, Weips-san welcomed us in a good mood.

「Indestructible weapon is just like the name described, it’s almost  impossible to destroy and it also don’t need maintenance. I also don’t  have many chance of making one, so I’m real fired up after so long!  (……Recently, I was almost made to submit by that excessively high spec  toy after all, so it’s a big help that there’re other thing I can focus  on)」

Weips-san’s face was a bit red and she muttered something to herself  but, rather than that my focus was drawn toward the budget paper that  was on the table.

After all the breakdown of weapon creation materials that Weips-san  wrote was an array of startlingly high class materials and magic items.

「Wait, Weips-san this, just how much effort are you planning to put into making the weapon!?」

The azure dragon material that I procured together with Alicia was at  the top, then there was a magic crystal that could only be collected  from a special dungeon located at the western edge of the continent.  Alloy that could only be created by an expert that possessed alchemist  type Gift. All the rest of the materials were also rare things that  needed a lot of effort and time to obtain or store.

Although Alicia and I were from martial noble house, we only had the minimum knowledge about weapon creation.

Even so we understood that Weips-san was clearly trying to make the highest grade of weapon. It surprised us greatly.

Even Alicia whose emotion didn’t really show on the surface opened her eyes wide and muttered 「……Amazing」.

「Well that, you two saved my friend after all. ‘Sides……」

Weips-san narrowed her eyes.

「If my estimation is right, 『mere high class weapon』 ain’t gonna cut  it for you two. If I’m gonna do this then I’ll temper a sword with all  my techniques. Of course the price also jump up in exchange of that  but……it won’t be any problem if it’s you two right?」

「~~tsu. Yes, of course!」

Weips-san’s appraising eye.

And also her thoughtful consideration for us, I thanked those from  the bottom of my heart while taking out the money that we had prepared.

It was the correct decision to bring a lot just in case.

*Don!* I placed the gold coins filled bag on the table.

「U-uoh. I thought that it would be fine after hearing about the  wallet situation of you guys beforehand but, you bastard really pay it  all in one go……. Yooosh, then I’m also gonna give it my all!」

Like that, the preparation for the weapon creation was progressing  smoothly. Then Weips-san said 「Come to think of it I haven’t asked you  what type of sword handle you like」 and went inside to bring out some  samples. It was then.

The entrance of the weapon shop was opened vigorously and one girl rushed into the shop.

「Geez, please listen to me for a bit Weips-san! Rouge-san is  horrible! She keep making me work overtime to create tons of crystal  before the Appraisal Crystal boom is over! The pay is good and it’s  great that my skill level also goes up but, I can’t do anything else  than sleeping when going home. I don’t have any time to play at all! I  also don’t have any time at all to use the live dildo that I got her to  sell to me for cheap……Weips-san too please say something to Rouge-san」

That girl was someone that Alicia and I knew really well.
