I am so late to this, but I just wanted to say, 1) killing the anointed one is absolutely in line with Spikeβs character but it was also for practical reasons - the actor that played Colin was growing too fast to play a child that isnβt supposed to be aging, and 2) James (Spike) is one of the very best actors to grace the entire Buffy-verse, and I canβt wait for you to see all the reasons why.
