2024-08-19 21:51:58 +0000 UTCSlash is another of my top favorites next to Casey and definitely serves as the quintessential fifth turtle. Always so monstrous and cool looking with the black mask, 2012 is my definitive favorite version next to IDW. And yeah, Slash is usually a snapping turtle originally before mutating, rather than a smaller more standard pet turtle sold in stores. I think the writers just had him look like an average tortoise, but still kept the huge monstrous snapping turtle anyway. I also found your mutant pizza man comment funny because in the 80s series there was a mutant called Pizza Face 😂
