The bad dialects/accents and the overacting in this movie are almost unbearable and laughable.

Getting back in town and finding this movie waiting for me was nice. Being a monster kid at heart, I always enjoy watching horror movies with people like yourself who haven't seen them before. I read the book when I was young, and when I saw this for the first time, I was happy that they didn't stray too far from the book as most of the Dracula movies have over the years. But Coppola did change many things; Mina did not fall in love with Dracula. She hates Dracula and tries hard to stay faithful to Jonathan, but I still love the movie. Another excellent vampire movie I think you would like is Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, with Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Kirsten Dunst. And that's just a few. That was fun; as always, I loved your reaction, and now I think I will go take a cold shower.

I love this movie, even though it's really quite goofy in places. Hard to imagine the same director made The Godfather! ...but you can see some similarities. Definitely a huge hot (sexual) mess! Vampires and sex are a pretty iconic pairing.
I really recommend Interview with the Vampire - do I need to say more than the words Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise? ;)
