2020-08-22 03:33:42 +0000 UTCThe Chuck defenders KILL me. They're always making excuses for Chuck's role in Jimmy's downfall. Yes, Chuck gave him a job and bailed him out of jail numerous times. But he only did it because Jimmy wasn't a "threat." He was comfortable with Jimmy slippin' and never wanted him to be anything more. That's why the moment Jimmy showed ANY progress -- he was there to stifle him. He never gave Jimmy a chance to BE better and that is not okay. Btw, I think after taking care of his brother for a full year without pay -- it's fair to say he paid his dues. No excuse for Chuck to treat Jimmy like garbage.

2020-08-21 06:22:32 +0000 UTCThe thing Chuck supporters forget is that despite blocking Jimmy at HHM, he let Jimmy take care of him full time (Bringing him all of his groceries, newspapers, and other needs, ~ every day ~, by 6 or 7am), unpaid, for over a year, all the while knowing Jimmy was trying full time to build a law practice as a public defender. Chuck was happy to do that because that was a place he felt comfortable Jimmy being, and THAT is what is gross. In the flashback with Rebecca, he let Jimmy use his con-skills when it benefited him. He is always fine using Jimmy for his own needs.
