I've always found peoples intense hatred towards Pitou confusing since to me she seemed like the most empathetic out of the 3 royal guards. Her defending Komugi with her life, her love for Meruem and valuing his happiness above anything, unlike Pouf. And in this episode where she acknowledges how Gon was suffering, called him by his name and expressed empathy for him.

personal opinion, the king seems to me the only ant besides colt to have actual good morals that he is fighting with. The other bodyguards are just doing whatever in the interests of the king. Ik its it undying loyalty, but that loyalty in a way is unhealthy and corrupt for example pouf wanting komugi dead

No you are right. They are ants. They don't care enough to put 2&2 together to think Gon was talking about the guy she fought and brought back. She didn't even remember Gon wqa the same kid until after she told him Kite was dead.

I don’t believe Poitou knew who kite actually was until she saw him on the floor right? I mean sure when they fought she knows what he looks like but I don’t believe she ever knew his name. I think that’s why she didn’t tell him at the palace before that she couldn’t actually save kite. If someone can correct me then that’d be dope

I understand how you feel about Pitou, but throughout the arc she has never interacted with komugi until she had 2 heal her which makes it impossible for her to desire killing komugi, she didn't even have a comment about what do with komugi because she was mostly patrolling. All three royal guards have roles and have been shown to have human qualities or becoming more human, even Pouf has certain qualities which are shown 2 be negative human qualities but his loyalty is undying . Pitou cares for the king as an individual and there have been moments of dialogue to show her compassion as well as her personality, she can't just magically change and be nice to her enemies, if all three of them ended up being like youpi it would honestly be stale story telling. I understand if your opinion of her won't change but that's my view on it
