Magath mentions to Colt in the first episode of the season that if Jaw or Cart were to be killed, the power would go to a random Eldian baby.

I'm 90% sure the "Owl" told that to Grisha before giving him the Attack titan during those flashbacks in season 3.

donβt think that info has been revealed in the anime yet, you may want to mark it as spoiler.

They do about 2 chapters per episode. 16 episodes isn't enough time to adapt 40+ chapters. Unless they about to have a ToG anime paced season, lots of cuts, or have a different ending like Claymore.

Manga is not over so the season will be split like season 3 was.

Don't worry too much about how you say the names, people are just being picky lol, personally I say the names how they say it in the show. oh and this season will have 16 episodes, which is surprising I really thought it'll be 24-26 episodes.

Eldians have the powers of the nine titans, and if no one has them currently, one random eldian is gonna be born with the titan powers, so yeah normal people can't turn without the catalyst, but the nine titans will show up at random. Not justifying their racism though lol.

The tyburs are all eldians, their family are respected because they fought against titans in the past

If you don't recall, Grice was the first one tossed off the wall for the other titans to chase after when they were all brought to Paradis. He was also the one who recruited Grisha and told him the truth of what happened to his sister.

To be fair to you and everyone else that didn't recognize eren: Reiner trained, bunked and fought for years next to eren...I think he could recognize eren eyes closed just from his smell or the sound of his steps lol

Before the new season of haikyuu came out I had to watch the past seasons because I couldn't really remember anything. People forget things. Not everyone has perfect memory lol definitely don't need to apologize about that.
With that being said I love all the info we're getting this season. Seeing's eren's grandad, the brainwashing the kids have going on, the tybur family, the internal confilct reiner has been dealing with all these years, etc.
I will say though the hate for all eldians is slightly weird. Because unless you're born inheriting one of the nine titans, it's not as if you can just become a titan at will unless you have the catalyst. It's kind of similar to how white people have felt about black people. Like we're just powerful and destructive but we're no different than anyone else aside from skin color. Idk.

Short and Sweet Answer:
The Tyburs are all Eldians, but sided with Marley for selfish reasons during the Titan War so they're considered honorary Marleyans. They've never been mentioned until this season.
When Marley took over some Eldians moved to Paradis with the King some stayed in Marley. And some moved to other parts of the world we don't know about. So Eldians are more or less spread out all over the world.
Everything else will be explained in the show.

I don't like the fact that Gabi's the textbook definition of brainwashed. But she really is freaking adorable. "SO THIS IS A FESTIVAL".

and yup, your mind is def gonna be blown rn bc the world expanded so much so quickly! also yes, the tybur family are eldians. they mentioned last episode i think the tybur family were pivotal in the last titan war so you can infer that they (like the king) betrayed eldians and helped marley to win the war so it makes sense that they took that chance to rise to power

regarding your questions - it should be shocking that these ppl run marley from the shadows. i dont think that was obvious. but also it makes sense that we havent heard of them before. the ppl on paradis dont know about them and in marley you can picture them kinda like the reiss family - someone way more important than they let on. why do they work for marley?? i mean, why did the king abandon the war and make the war renouncing vow? why do the eldians rn still work for marley? it's complex and there isn't a clear answer yet which is exciting

hmm it sounds like yall didn't notice that was grisha's dad aka zeke and eren's grandpa (dr Jaeger and the flashback showing his younger face) . he was indeed a doctor in his earlier days which is how grisha became a doctor but apparently was so ridden with guilt after the whole grisha and faye situation he's institutionalized. eren im sure realized this via his dad's memories/just hearing the name Jaeger and basically made his grandpa have a mental breakdown lol
