And if he was ever to let those feelings for her become even stronger it would set off Klaus. Bcuz if you remember Klaus was getting jealous of them getting close bcuz heโs afraid of his child growing up and calling Elijah father and not Klaus. Which once again Klaus will feel abandoned again. Cuz heโs always worried that heโs going to be abandoned. And if the child were to do that. That would definitely set off Klaus for good. And Klaus does care for Hayley though I know they havenโt really shown it. And not just bcuz sheโs having his baby.

Rebekah running around trying to topple the empire is just annoying. But Iโm extremely biased towards Klaus and Marcel so ๐(just caught this in your discussion but Rebekah hasnโt been allowed to leave Klausโs side. Both times she chose love over Klaus, Marcel and Stefan, Klaus daggered her for decades)

And Rebekah was kind of right with what she said. If Klaus and Hayley were to stand against each other, whoโs to say Elijah wouldnโt take his side because he loves her? He already did that when Tyler came to town.
