I agre. Bonnie is doing the same thing as Marcel in the originals. He said you can't do well without an original on your side. Reality is that the heretics are powerful wether we like them or not. I think Bonnie is being smart and it does make sense however if you like Nora or not that's another discussion.

Yes, Stefan is going through the same as Damon, so it is unfair to blame Stefan for Damon's mistake.....that make no sense. Damon is a grown man much older than Stefan....he needs to start taking responsibility for his own actions. Caroline clearly cares about the babies, so I understand why she was visible upset at the news. I think people need to remember she is a vampire and she can not conceive, so this is a big experience for her and there are a lot of emotions and uncertainty on her part. As for Bonnie, she is trying to keep Nora on her side because she is a powerful heretic, and I don't think you guys heard her say that to matt.

2023-10-03 22:41:48 +0000 UTCI see what you mean about the elena and Bonnie part but i don’t think stefan made excuses for him all the time, bc throughout the seasons we see that Stefan tries to set Damon straight, and not let him go on the deep end, like he said I’m always gonna need my brother no matter what, and it shows by the end of the show.

2023-10-03 16:58:53 +0000 UTCI mean people don’t want to hear it but sometimes you can’t help someone until they are ready to change and not Elena or Stefan has been able to do that. The only person in my mind that was able to help Damon is Bonnie because she never made excuses for him and see knows exactly who Damon is but Stefan and Elena wanted to change him completely and they would have an excuse for everything Damon did but Bonnie lays everything out to him and Damon has apologized to Bonnie so many times but before Damon wouldn’t apologize and we see he put Elena in front of everyone but when it comes to Bonnie he has a hard time choosing. So Stefan needs to live his life and stop trying to fix his brother and instead help his brother when he really needs it. Damon has to learn live life for yourself and makes decisions for yourself and not to let anyone influence who you actually are and that’s what got me with Elena because he always made excuses for him , Elena and Damon together is very toxic
