Preview - Sun's Rest II
Added 2024-10-12 06:27:20 +0000 UTCI don't like to be empty-handed, but I don't have anything fully finished to show off right now - lots of projects happening at the same time slows them all down.
But, just to show that they are happening, here's the first chunk of what's going to be my next release. I'm not going to bother with a .pdf for this, but .odt should be openable in just about everything.
Obviously, I couldn't leave Sun's Rest without a sequel, and writing one is an excellent opportunity to explore emotional connections, which is what this entire section is. It's the resolution to the argument that kicked off Sun's Rest.
Naturally, parts of this may be different in the final release.
(Also, one of the other competing projects is something very exciting that I'm contributing to in a pretty fun way. It's new territory, but I'm sure it'll be fun)

Yeah, I've been wanting to do a good deep dive into Elaria and Asrielle's relationship for a while, and this is gonna be a great chance to see how they work together even outside of their games. Of course, there's gonna be some things there along those lines, too, but they're not the whole story this time around. As for that other thing, it's gonna be a deeper look into the Legacy of Gold world than I've already touched on, and not quite as passive as just stories.
