Here is my first official no-communication Artistic Freedom commission! I immediately realized how much I like this system, but I think I need to refine the actual commissioning process for them. The lack of WIPs however is bliss.

What I wanted to note about this piece is that Toni requested to have me interpret his colours and go ham. At first I thought I could simply do anything at all, make him yellow and green, punch it over the moon. I quickly realized that I'm still much too timid for psychedelic things like that, and I'll try again some other time. However what I did manage was a yellow and green environment; and adjusting his own colours to fit in. In fact, this was my first attempt at a tetrad colour scheme, where four hues are taken from the colour wheel in sort of a rectangle. Since they are all quite different and only work harmoniously with a bit of juggling, a tetrad can be difficult but rewarding. Had so much fun with that! I look forward to developing more control over colour harmonies down the line, and becoming more confident with crazy ideas!
