My last con summary took too long to make. I'm standing on a platform waiting for a train. A better time will hardly come, so.

The core quality of Eurofurence 2023 was expectations to be lived up to or disappoint. This time it was so much more relaxed and spontaneous - probably in part due to panel scheduling chaos making the idea of a firm plan seem pretty funny. Polaroid pictures of me at my second Tarot panel are by Junyc and, if I'm not totally misremembering, Casi as well. It's the colour film vs the black and white. Photos were followed by some very touching conversation. As for the talk, i felt much freer than last time, leading to me ditching my notes halfway through and still going into Overtime. There was also a Tarot reading projected onto a screen.

Dealing-wise, Draak shared his table with me because I had not been selected for the Dealer's Den. I admit to anxiety regarding any earnings he may have been missing out on due to the smaller display, but he did well and we had a snug time sitting and standing. For me it also did. I drove a two pronged approach of censored nsfw prints and an uncensored folder with an appealing cover - what pleasantly surprised me was that my sfw prints were just as well enjoyed and received plenty of encouragement, leading to that overconfident post-post-truth Procreate confetti of which you may enjoy the mere end result. Goal for EF: talk to more strangers and offer-practice much more traditional art. I was very grateful to be commissioned for some, though the single-attempt nature of sketchbook commissions might have coloured me a bit obsessive.
