I love “Get cool” and I liked “ I am you “ and “ N/S ( which I think stands for North or south , that’s why they use their hands going up and down and somewhere in the video they say something contributing to going up or down )

2024-07-20 18:46:31 +0000 UTCi know i'm def late to this but i wanted to share my thoughts on the woojin situation. i started seeing skz around and watched their survival show when it was coming out, but didn't start actually listening regularly until i am who. for me, i was crushed when i heard the news. as the rumours started spreading was when i was a little suspicious (even though they were taken care of) i still felt a little off about him. the thing is, they told us he was leaving for personal reasons, and if that is true, i dont understand what could have made him leave the group he fought so hard to be in (especially right before a comeback). they had to rerecord a shit ton of stuff like the songs and they had to edit the mvs a lot. during the survival show, they had to do the exact same thing when lino and felix left. i'm just wondering why the hell he would do that to them knowing how it felt to suddenly loose a member during the survival show. i wouldn't have paid much mind to it because life happens, but the fact that he announced he was going to be a solo artist and that he signed to a new company SO QUICKLY after this stuff happened... its so suspicious to me. i would assume if the personal reasons were that important for him to leave his "family", he would have taken some sort of hiatus completly. i do know that the rumours had something to do with that, but still. chan also said some things on a live and we assume it was about woojin. i honeslty would trust chan with my life, so when he brought up those things, it made me really think about the situation again. chan is such a genuine person and he would never say things like that if he wasn't truly hurting. he loves that group and the members more than life itself, and you can tell just how hurt he was with the whole situation. they were overworked and most likely emotionally exhausted by the situation, which (being completly honest here) just makes me have no respect for woojin anymore. i also saw somewhere (i dont know if this is true so take it with a grain of salt) that jyp has never rerecorded songs like they did for skz2020 when a member leaves. ones that i can point out of the top of my head would be when jae left day6, i also believe that there was an nmixx member that left as well (?) and they never did what skz had to do when woojin left. it makes me think that it must have been something pretty serious that happened. the members after were very adamant about being an 8 member group as well, with no talk of them being 9 to begin with. this is just my opinion, i don't care if anyone decides to support woojin, but i won't be. the guys work so hard and they did not deserve to be treated in they way they were during the situation. there are some clips of them watching levanther performances in a skz code episode (i think) and the way they all got quiet while watching is so heartbreaking. i cannot imagine the genuine stress they were under during that time, and you can tell when you see them watch those performances. it weighed (and still probably does) heavily on them and i just hope they never have to go through all of that ever again.

2023-09-25 01:31:26 +0000 UTCthis is very late but i thought to add my two cents into the whole woojin leaving thing. i stanned stray kids predebut, i actively was a fan of the boys when they were first starting out. i actually did not know how to feel about woojin leaving at the time. there was numerous rumors going around about some questionable things he was rumored to have done. the rumors for the most part were all cleared up but me personally, i hated the way he handled said accusation's along with the fact that he left SOOO abruptly, they were about to have a comeback so the rest of the members had to rerecord and refilm the entire album, which was exhausting for them. chan also said something on live briefly referring to woojin that made me think that there had to be an issue within the group as well regarding woojin's actions. i dunno for me i could see how broken up and exhausted the rest of the members were, saw some of the questionable things he had been saying and doing after his departure and i grew to dislike him, honestly. i think skz are doing way better with the eight of them and i wouldn't want it any other way. all members are able to shine now, we got more vocals for han and i.n that we weren't getting before. all in all i don't hate him, i just don't care for him, i'm happy with skz as they are now.

I didn't like him at first with what I was hearing but the more I watched their older content with him, the more I realized he wasn't a bad person like people said he was. Stay were mad at him for leaving(I understand cause it was such a important time), so they made up fake rumors about him bullying the members and sa. I am a fan of him as a soloist and is a ot8. He did make a debut as a soloist in 2021with the song "Ready Now". He has a album talking about wanting to forget the past and focus on the future, which I don't know if he's talking about the rumors or just something that happened in his life personally. He is a great artist and such a sweet guy. I'm sad baby stays are hating on him without knowing the full thing. People act like it wasn't probably hard for him too. Which is why I wanted to explain this to you since there is some mixed emotions in these comments about him. It's okay if you don't stan him. But just don't believe everything you see online.😕 I loved this album, But my favorite is probably 'In Life'. 💜💜

2023-05-01 02:18:21 +0000 UTCWoojin leaving was the most unexpected thing that happened during that time. They had just announced a new mini album and did a pre-release with Double Knot and were doing promotions for it during the whole month of October. And then all of a sudden, JYPE announced at the end of October that they had ended their contract with Woojin due to personal reasons. Production for the album was already set and all the MVs for this album had already been filmed. Skz basically had to push back their comeback date to re-record all the songs, re-film their main title track MV, reproduce their physical album, etc. Their MV for Astronaut was heavily edited to omit Woojin but if you look close enough, you can see glimpses of him in the MV and in the BTS footage. We always say that skz are all rounders and they are but in truth, Woojin was their main vocalist at that time. When your main vocalist leaves, your group dynamic changes drastically. It hurt. Stays were sad. Skz were sad. For the first time, we saw a side of skz that we've never seen before. Not confident and lost. Even up until Gods Menu, we could still see this. It wasn't until after the success of God's Menu that we started to see a rise in their confidence again. In a way, I'm thankful that he left because line distributions have gotten a lot more fair and 3racha have also gotten a lot better at utilizing each of the members now.
