2023-05-27 17:33:09 +0000 UTCi recommed watching lee munjin's ! there's epsiodes with Seungmin, Han and in about 2 days or so with I.N. you're ears will be blessed (: also theres something called Rachalog, which is a series they began not long ago. where they for example, go bowling, gaming and so on. theres only 3 episodes at the moment. its entertaining and i think it will also help you learn more about the members. ( English is not my first language) love your reactions, it makes my day (:

Most people need to hear it a few times to truly enjoy it. It can be quite addicting after that lol. Nigel, if you do give it a few more listens, I'd be curious to know what your opinion is later on 🙂.

2023-05-27 11:03:46 +0000 UTCFun facts about the song: • The "wait wait wait wait, yah" part that changbin did was actually Seungmin's voice. • Tortoise and the Hare is actually never preformed live. • They recorded it in one take. • And Han wrote it in 15-20 minutes. • It supposedly was going to be on a 2020 replay album, but was on the actual 'In Life' album instead. • The song is very popular in Korea because store owners put that song on for people to leave. So it's quite hated in Korea. For being one of skz most hated songs, it was really inpactful and genius. In one of Chans lives when it came out, a STAY asked for him to play it which he was happy to, but when he saw another comment saying 'Tortoise and the Hare is a bad song' Chan replied to them saying something like(not word for word) : I understand that people might not like it, since it's a really, REALLY experimental song, but I like it, and I think STAY likes it. So if you don't like it..You mad bruh?". Just a few fun facts about this song cause it's VERY underrated and genius. Glad you liked it, btw about that one part you didn't really vibe with, I.N was saying "Ppalli" meaning 'Fast' slow, and Han was saying "neurim" meaning 'Slow' fast. So it's kind of playing with the words which when you think about it, it makes sense.😊🫶

TTATH is one of my favourite tracks and I agree, SKZ's ability to play with their sound in new and unusual ways is one of the reasons that they are my first kpop fandom

2023-05-27 04:02:31 +0000 UTCidk if you've heard that pete davidson quote about a joke but like serious? lmao, the boys have talked ab this song being something like that, like a joke but serious, that lee know shout out, the last verse where changbin sings like a kids song(? from korea, this is a masterpiece and part of the message that stray kids establish with their music, which is; we do whatever we want wether u like it or not. hyunjin was asked in an interview how does he feel about stray kids specialty & uniqueness on their music and i loved his answer, quoting him: "yes, we have a theme of a team that does things that others don't do. when we go to award, music shows, there are also other teams. sometimes i find it fun and weird that we're performing something unique in between (those performances) but i like that weirdness. i don't know if i can use this expression but should i say 'crazy.' the atmosphere that we have makes me proud. and it's more fun to hear the reaction, 'what kind of song is that?' Also that part that you mentioned you didn’t vibe with of I.N’s… Not sure if you noticed but he is saying “ppalli” which is the word for fast very slowly and then Han says the word for slowly very quickly. So that’s why they did it that way. It’s actually quite clever.

I love the idea behind it — that no matter how fast or slow you go, we all end up in the same place eventually — and how that idea is incorporated into the song itself: The tempo never changes, despite the rhythm changes making it sound like it speeds up or slows down; it’s always the same beats per minute.
