Hey hi folks! It's been a busy two weeks, but in a good way; I've been streaming a lot more than I used to, I've gotten some commissions done, I'm starting to draw more regularly and my podcast project is almost about to launch.

I'm still looking for work, and my taxes are due, so that's taking a big chunk of my time, but I'll get through it.

Expect an art stream in the near future! I'm going to show some of the techniques I used to make the poster and the comics for the recent League of Heels event, as well as put those up for folks with access to high-res versions and work files. Expect a new link to those folders very soon, too!

I'm also going to record and publish the first podcast episode soon, and I have more art projects in the works. Add to that the game I'm working on and I plan to post a lot of stuff here in the coming weeks!

Thanks again for your support; I couldn't be doing all of this without you. It means the world to me.

Let's keep making wonderful things together. 💙

Okies, thank you for clarifying. >//>

I'm really sorry to hear you had a bad time with a previous game. :\ Concerning Ladykiller, I never encountered the scene in question throughout my playthroughs. Having learned of it weeks after I stopped playing, I can't say how it would have affected my impression of the game if I had encountered it while playing. My experience with Ladykiller was deeply personal and enlightening, because I saw a lot that I identified with (probably in very different ways than what was intended). I do understand the problems that this scene caused with a portion of players, regardless of the intent behind its creation (since I don't think intent makes something hurt any less). The developer's reaction to player feedback was to apologize and remove the scene; that's probably what I would do in a similar situation (and I've worried about that situation a lot). I recommended the game before I knew of this scene, and since I learned of it when it was removed, I've continued to recommend it. I think it's an important game. I often talk about owning your work and being receptive to feedback - especially when something you made turned out to be hurtful for some folks - so I very much respect the dev's choice in this matter.

I've been rewatching your Nier stream out of solidarity >//> You bring up Ladykiller In A Bind as an example of a game that gave you what you wanted out of it? But in the version that most people bought, it threw queer gamers into a corrective hetero rape scene with no warning: https://deleuze-and-bacardi.tumblr.com/post/152667437527/this-love-will-not-be-successful-ladykiller-in-a I've personally been badly hurt by one of the developer's earlier games, and I guess I kind of feel unsafe about seeing LKIAB praised for that when it traumatized a lot of queer ladies who played it before that scene was patched out ...
