May 21st to June 3rd

Hi again folks! Sorry for the late update; I've been traveling again and this time it took a bit more out of me than I expected.

I went back to Toronto! My game This Dungeon Is So Cool was shown in the curated arcade, so I got to show it off and see folks play it! :D I also had the honor of giving one of the micro-talks and representing Pixelles, a Montreal nonprofit dedicated to helping women and marginalized folks get into the games industry, in a panel. It was a very short and sweet experience and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it.

I also had the opportunity to guest on the stream of Christine Love and Miguel Sternberg! Their channel is super interesting from a design standpoint and it was great to have them play a bit of Chariot to hear (and see) their take on a game I'm proud to have worked on. In other stream news, I've begun a Design Delve of Dark Souls 2; playing Salt and Sanctuary put me back into a Souls mood and I couldn't stop thinking about it. It'll be a long one, but as usual, all patrons at the Observe tier will get early access to it as soon as the series is done! (I've been a bit lax in uploading the last complete series; sorry about that, I'll get on it soon!)

My Mega-Trip knocked me out for a whole week, but I think I should be good after a couple days for this one. I did get to work on a lot of commissions while I was in Toronto, thanks to the hospitality of Gamma Space, a wonderful coworking space for indies. I've also got a lot of personal art planned and I can't wait to get to it!

I have a lot on my plate, and for the first time since starting this Patreon, I'm getting close to being able to survive on my own. I couldn't do this without you; thank you so much for giving me a shot at thriving in the career I love.

I've got a lot of stuff to share with you and I hope to get started on that tomorrow! In the meantime, let's keep making wonderful things together. 💙
