@T mostly wrong again...Do we atleast have this common ground. That we both think Leo should know that its not okay or legal for people to discriminate against him? I would extend that to his fans watching that heard his statement, He has a huge following. Do his fans deserve to know they cant be discriminated against legally? (you dont really need to answer it, i wont be back to read this thread) This is where my "please dont talk about politics unless you're full informed on both points of view on the topic lol." statement came from. It is never and i mean NEVER authoritarian when trying to teach someone they have more rights than they knew, its about the importance of them living as an equal person, its the literal opposite of authoritarian(also i never demanded anything, i simply ASKED if he would look into it, once again not authoritarian)! That would be like me accusing you having an authoritarian opinion for asking me to respond to Leos reacting differently, ridiculous right?.....Leo said "people can legally discriminate against him now" That is a incorrect POLITICAL and humanitarian statement that can have lasting impact of someone who lives like that. When a statement that impactful is made than quickly brushed over on a page that he says himself he avoids politics...it makes responding to that statement and letting him know its false, fair game. It only gets ridiculous when the arguing like your doing happens, I was quick and friendly and to the point, just like Leo was, just like Violet was. Why would you want someone you know to keep thinking something like that when you know its a lie? We all knows its indefensible, so you try to turn this into something its not or what? I thought it was important he knows he can defend himself, and I could provide the laws that prove it. You getting way to involved in something that dont concern you and trying to divide the community here. Meanwhile the rest of us vibing and getting along. Your turning nothing into something just so you can argue with yourself. I've been a patreon here since the first week he started it, i dont really need you to tell me how things go around here. It's silly to flex and say you can list x,y,z laws without actually listing them or give analysis of said laws to justify your opinion. You don't even cite the Executive Order you're talking about. If you're criticizing someone for not being micro in having an opinion, at least back up your criticism with sources. You're telling someone not to share their opinion on entertainment that's political in nature because they're not as informed as you are. That's an authoritarian opinion. He's reacting raw to a very political show yet you authoritatively want to shut down his opinion on visual media that elicits raw emotion and opinion. When one has the response of "please dont talk about politics unless you're full informed on both points of view on the topic lol." to an opinion given, the intentions might be good but that could unintentionally shut down someone from learning about the thing you want them to be knowledgeable about. At that point, all you're doing is shutting down someone and they're not going to research the thing you're demanding them to research. "South Park" roasts a lot of timely issues that can be a launching point for viewers to do more in-depth research about the topics the series is satirizing. Leo isn't voting here. He's just giving his reaction to a silly cartoon series. It's probably best to keep that in mind with him or any other reactor. I don't believe your post was malicious and you had good intentions, but it could have been delivered differently.

I think its important he knows thats not true, or to read the EO, or federal laws that protect him, himself. If you want Leo to go on believing its legal for people to discriminate against him, and everyone else, thats on you. But i think its an important fact to correct or atleast for him to look into it himself, to make that judegement, because where ever he got that information from, they're misleading him, i can prove it by posting the actual laws. No satire, just asking him to read it and make a judgement, so he knows he can defend himself. You have no argument, or you're just arguing with yourself.

I can name about a dozen laws right now that prevent discrimination at the work place, its completely against the law. What news you heard was "spin" that they put on the topic. If its about the religious freedom EO, that did not have any mandate for discrimination but rather provided protections for individuals and organizations expressing their religious beliefs, Many left wing news places put spin on that EO, they claimed it would allow businesses to refuse service to people bases on their beliefs, but nothing of the sort is in the writing, its lies. just read the EO yourself.
