November Preview II, All Images WIP
Added 2020-10-16 20:41:15 +0000 UTC
There will be 3 small size shacks, each shack will have a stone and timber/stone chimney options. each will have 3 thatch roofs: Plain, Plain with chimney, and roof weighted with rope and rocks with chimney. Interiors will have fire places and dirt walls. The plain roof option will fit other buildings released before. I'll probably knock out one more version with an interior chimney to use on older buildings. Its basically a lot of asset foundation work for things coming out over the next months.

Designing a new insert window that can prop open.

Another shot of the new timber, looks like I have to dial the ground back a bit.

I'll be running some test prints for a more aggressive thatch this weekend to see if we can pull off something more aggressive in the future. Credit for this concept and experiment goes to Erik Askew over at Worlds Over Run:) Thanks Erik!

Also Knocking out about 6 to 8 8" ruin rubble strands, so folks can make freeform paths or mazes or whatever.

Been knocking around the Dock City idea. I'm working out how to have a dock and then an "Under Dock." Get it...Under Dock. Our first word play design for Patreon. This will end up being pushed back to December with the first sea stack building, It looks like I'm going to need 4 or 5 completely unique shack designs to keep this looking good. I'm guessing I can get a top layer and 2 optional under-dock layers with that.
I'm about half way into an expansion kit for the barracks (may patreon), I think that's the only thing I've started that I'm not showing yet. Thanks for Looking:) Make sure you check out our first November preview if you missed it!

Thanks Shane, I'll have a new preview up shortly, these new ones will lean a little bit more towards the modern reaper scale of 28mm which I kind of think of as 32mm light.
2020-10-23 14:40:35 +0000 UTCloving the look of the new buildings. very excited to use them when my dnd group can start playing again
2020-10-23 14:30:01 +0000 UTCWell I ended up turning the texture up a lot, I'll have preview prints in a few day. The experimental texture has a lot of promise as as well but I'll have to run a dozen test variants to see what works best, as soon as it lays a bit more flat it works better.
2020-10-19 01:01:25 +0000 UTCThe first thing that comes to mind is from the first book of curse of the crimson throne adventure path where there's a smugglers' den underneath the dock with a secret lift for getting cargo.

2020-10-17 03:00:05 +0000 UTCHi Nick, yeah I hear you, it's a little harder to get jazzed about the smaller buildings but it's a start and we'll get some larger ones in the long run.
2020-10-16 23:23:58 +0000 UTCThanks Brad, let me know if any ideas come to mind for it, it is still in a fairly early stage.
2020-10-16 23:20:10 +0000 UTCThanks Vicente:)
2020-10-16 23:19:21 +0000 UTCThanks for checking it out Gene!
2020-10-16 23:18:58 +0000 UTCHi Brent, thanks, we'll find out this weekend . I'll get some test prints printed and primed, It's an easy fix if I need to punch up the texture. That thought crossed my mind as well. The rocks are an actaul thing, I did my own version but I picked it up off some coastal houses, I think in Scotland. I'll see if i can refind them and link. I also saw a version where they make a V with logs and fasten it over the thatch that i'll probably add. I'm guessing its strictly a coastal thing because of the constant wind.
2020-10-16 22:23:04 +0000 UTCI love that you're making new roofs and this is close to what I want at my table, but I think you need something half way between the aggressive straw texture you previewed and the low texture one. Also, I find the rocks on top to be rather odd.
