A Textbook Example Special is now available!
Added 2025-05-05 12:43:10 +0000 UTCSorry for the delay again. Installation of the new air conditioner took longer than expected. But it's in place now, and just in time, too! Temperatures threaten to hit 30 degrees C in the next week or two. Hopefully, this also means I can get future pieces up a bit faster (but no promises!)
Today's Textbook Example looks at two lines found in The Hundred Line. I'm playing through the demo version, but I expect the translation hasn't been updated for the full release.
Before the next Iroha piece, I'll be tweaking the current one -- correcting some typos, and switching out the stroke order characters for images instead. This should make the page load faster and reduce needed bandwidth. I'll also switch out the SVGs in other Textbook Examples soon to use images there, too. As much as I'd prefer not to use images (in consideration of them not always loading), it's easier than the alternatives and I may as well be consistent in usage.
Before I sign off, I'm also looking at changing the backend directory structure of site. It'll be better, moving forward, to have the Textbook Examples and Zero to Hero in their own little folders. Not sure when that will go into effect, but I'll let you know. I'll likely refresh the access URL at that time, too.
