The backstory of Maomao's life and family history will come up throughout the season, starting with this episode(yes, Tasha, that was her mom in the annex). Jinshi when's she came back though.π€£ I love her solving cases in the palace and back home at the brothel. The hairpins were a common gift for men to give to their girlfriends or fiancΓ©s as a token of love and a promise of loyalty. They are very valuable in that way and as commodity.βΊοΈ But there's an episode where the dude, Lihaku, that took her out the palace walls for three days will be around MaoMao around and Jinshi catches them will be too funny π€£.
