Update to Private RSS Feed

On Thursday of last week, we changed our private (ad-free) RSS feed from Acast to Patreon. Patreon will not be supporting Acast beginning in May. This should have been completely invisible to you and require no action, but some people have reported that they are no longer receiving new episodes. If you do see an issue, no matter what app you are using, the best thing would be to:

Remove the old private RSS feed (unfollow, unsubscribe, etc) from that app
Follow the "How do I listen ad-free?" directions (re-shared below) to retrieve your private RSS feed
Re-add the show to your application; in most cases, this seems to be resolving the issue. Please send us a message, if you continue to have issues.

How do I listen ad-free?

To access the ad-free version of the show plus your two new bonus episodes each month, you may listen directly through the Patreon site or app. You may also choose to link your private RSS feed to a podcatching app of your choice. Here’s how to get your private RSS feed:

Patreon website

Go to patreon.com/magictavern
Select the radio tower icon
This will open a window with the option to copy your private RSS feed link (which can then be pasted into your app of choice)

Patreon app

Open the Patreon app on your device
Select the Hello from the Magic Tavern from your list of creators
Use the menu (three dots) and then select “Add to podcast app”
Then you’ll have the option to add the private RSS feed to particular pre-selected apps or to copy the link to your private RSS feed (which can then be pasted into your app of choice)
