From Arnie:
Anyone who listened to the Meet and Greet knows that I went to Hermosa for a fun Cambodian meal. Update: It was delicious.
Otherwise, I had a bunch of people (including Matt and Adal) over for a Eurovision watch party, something I like to do every year. I also played some intense games of Blood on the Clocktower, both in person and online. My enthusiasm for Blood on the Clocktower is only growing!

May 2025
Are you all excited for The Ten Year Tour? I know I am. So stay tuned to see what else we may get up to over the next few months!
Taskmaster: We’re up to Series 12 already; so fun. Skipped ahead and watched the first episode with Mantzoukas from Series 19 (chef’s kiss!). Cooking competition shows: We finished two Tournament of Champions and House of Knives (HoK is ridiculous and kind of trying to cash in on GoT?; I can’t imagine there will be a second season, but I hope there is!).
Gundam Report: I finished some more Gundam this month: The 08th MS Team was alright. Nothing has really hit like the original series for me yet, but I have a lot to go. Trying to track this stuff down on bluray too. It’s been a real pain as a lot of it went out of print when RightStuf was bought by Crunchyroll.
Good month for keeping up with the Tavern gang too. Got a bit of face time with Adal, Arnie, Garrett, and Rathjen.
Enjoyed a fun lunch with Ryan. We were talking shop a bit about bonus episodes and Craig, but we also just had a lovely time. I only ate half my sandwich but then forgot to take my leftovers home. They may still be sitting on the table.
Also had dinner with Chris Rathjen and his wife one night where I learned Chris had already seen Sinners but he liked it so much he was willing to see it again with me the following week. Sinners is really, really good (and I’m not a horror guy). Just let Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan make all the movies.
Enjoyed Eurovision at Arnie’s house (where Adal was also in attendance), but had to leave before the final votes came in to make it to my Improvised Shakespeare show that night…which some of you were at! And who was there? None other than the illustrious Garrett Schultz! Plus a bunch of you coordinate a visit for that same show. It was great hanging with Garrett, the Shakes cast, and some Tavernistas after the show!

From Adal:
Here’s what I was up to in May. Let me know if you have any recommendations for me!
TV:
Mobland (worth mentioning I thought this was fantastic. The first half of the season is solid and then on the back half…especially episodes 9 & 10…it becomes some of the best tv of the past 5 or so years. Helen Mirren and Paddy Considine especially shine)
The Devil’s Plan season 2
Invincible season 3
Black Mirror season 7
MOVIES:
Captain America: Brave New World
OTHER:
I spent my birthday in Scotland which was a much needed connection with nature and quiet. The Isle of Skye especially was really an embarrassment of geographical riches. I tasted lots of whiskey, pet a few highland coo’s, hiked through plenty of rain and ate 10 to 15 bowls of cullen skink soup. Thank you everyone who provided some great recs!
I’ve been enjoying the podcasts Good Hang w/ Amy Poehler and The Telepathy Tapes
Music this month has been all over the place but I’ve spend some quality time with Godspeed You Black Emperor, Yin Yin’s album The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers, as well as Sam & Dave and some killer Japanese surf rock (The Carnabeats, The Bunny’s, Atomica Mosquitos, etc.)
Had a great time at Arnie's Eurovision party, even if Latvia was ROBBED
Jemma and I went to Princeton for Reunions and had a good time as well as more of the best sandwiches at Hoagie Haven.
Hey Riddle Riddle hits the road for some live shows soon! You can see all the cities we’re playing HERE, we added a couple more dates this week.

I'm not sure which show this is for, but have you tried calling the venue directly?

2025-06-23 15:07:12 +0000 UTCIs there an alternative way to get tickets than Ticketmaster? For some reason my TM account won’t process payments. I’ve left them 2 messages and even created a new account to purchase from, and nothing.
