June 2020 Enamel Keychain Designs (COMPLETE)

(FINAL UPDATE & THOUGHTS) 07.14.2020 I forgot to update this post when these came in! It's been about 2-3 weeks since they arrive--to be honest I wasn't very happy with how the quality came out when I originally saw some photos. There was a little of a production delay because one of the molds broke (resulting in them remaking it which took up some time), but to my surprise, these keychains came in and I've grown a strong liking to them despite a few differences from my original designs. 

The keychains are .5 oz each which is a WHOLE lot heavier than conventional enamel pins--a pleasant surprise since I immediately thought of how these keychains could be used to protect yourself if you wanted to just swing them around and smack someone with them they'd be in for quite a surprise haha. Overall, they were received pretty well for a product I wasn't quite 100% happy with when I received them but in the end, they've grown on me and will remain a staple in my heart as one of my very first enamel keychain designs!

The moon and sun cut outs were an idea suggested by my brother when I showed him the design initially since it was something I wasn't happy with! It's a little difficult to rotate because of the tiny circle--but it's still something fun to spin around or let it rotate on it's own! 

I'm not quite sure if I'll be adding any more to the series any time soon since these were a test and a big learning experience--but if there's any favourite motivational or inspirational quotes you guys have please feel free to share with me! All the best!

5.15.2020 Hello!! With quarantine looming over me heavily nowadays, I wanted to look back on some (tacky? cliche?) motivational quotes that I've always loved and decided to work them into some enamel keychains! I wanted to make them large enough to hold nicely in your hand while also featuring a cut out in the centre with a rotating piece for a nicer finish. Some glitter will be added to certain parts of the enamel color as well so I'm super excited to see how these turn out!
