Fun Pocket Cardigans (SPRING RELEASE 2021) & more!

Hi fish fries!!!

I know it's January but I'm already dreaming of spring and am honestly SO over this cold weather 😩 It's been so cold the past few days which is great because I've been releasing so many sweaters (I LOVE sweaters but just cold weather is a big nono for me).

I have a few designs planned that may or may not be scraped for the next few months but for sure, I'm looking into getting a sample made of some new cardigans! I've been having a lot of trouble with shipping out my current cardigans, mainly because I'm not as happy with the way they look (but will still offer them because they're the best unisex cardigans I've found) and how there's no pockets??? So I wanted to look into making my own with some fun pocket designs and came up with two designs I'd like to try out and have made as samples!

I'm looking into ordering a huge batch to reduce wait times as soon as I get samples, I'm just a little worried if I'm ordering too much or too little (a constant struggle I deal with haha) but they'll most likely be released sometime in March or April if all goes well with sampling!

I'm also super excited to be releasing the "Feeling Blue" whale sweater design in grey! That one will be released sometime in March for sure, since I wanted to have it match with the "April Showers" idea I had for it! I already test printed the design on a totebag (last photo, apologies for the poor lighting!!) I'll have released for the sweaters BUT if people are interested, I'm more than happy to put it up early for you all this Friday for the early release!! These won't be released until a few months later so you'll all have access to the totebag before everyone else if you're all interested 👀

I also contemplated printing my "Cetacea de la Moon" beret design on a navy sweatshirt and just slapped the design on to see how it'd turn out--not quite sure if it's something I'll stick to or scrap yet but it's just there for funsies for now! Same with the sea otter design, I wanted to work with embroidery for that one but I'm not sure if that's something people would be interested in so I'll most likely get a sample and garner interest if that's something people would like to see as well!

And last but not least, I originally wanted to make a really nice embroidered soft shelled jacket--the manufacturer I worked with gifted me one that they embroidered one of my designs on and the quality is AMAZINGLY nice--there's pockets inside the jacket AND outside, while the inside is lined with a soft fleece and it's just super sleek and cool. I made the orca design to match the sleekness with it and also wanted to work with some metallic silver thread to really pop out the design!

The problem with the soft shelled jackets is because the quality is really nice, the price per unit to make them is also unfortunately high--I'd have to charge $100 per jacket (but you get what you pay for and the quality is EXTREMELY nice in my opinion)--the jacket is light in terms of weight but it's waterproof as well (no hood though)! 

If there's some interest, I'll most likely release the designs both on a black cardigan and on this jacket! The jacket will most likely be preorders only since the cost is so high to make as well :(
