New Video! Free Will & Jerry's Dilemma

New Video! Free Will & Jerry's Dilemma

Comments

In case you haven't run across this study "Predicting free choices for abstract intentions" by Chun Siong Soona, Anna Hanxi Heb, Stefan Bodeb, and John-Dylan Haynes using fMRI showed that they can predict 4 seconds before when a person will make a decision and whether the decision will be to add or subtract two numbers. So that implies we have no free will but have the illusion of free will such that after we "do" something the mind comes along and creates a story that the "me" decided to do whatever happened spontaneously as a result of our genetics and prior conditioning.
