Symphoyear of the Ox
Added 2021-02-12 21:08:10 +0000 UTCPhew! Finally finished, and just in time too! This is what I've been working on since the start of the month, which is why there's been a lack of any news from me.
According to the Chinese calendar, it's the year of the Ox and as I'm sure many of you have seen, it sparked a series of cowgirl pictures from many, many artists at the beginning of January. Unfortunately, I was really busy at the time, so I missed the point when everyone was posting stuff online. However, since the whole thing is a Chinese tradition in the first place and the Chinese New Year is actually in February, I decided to do something big ahead of time. This isn't something I've been known to do too often (I can't remember the last time I've drawn a holiday picture), but c'mon! Did you really think I wasn't going to do something for the year celebrating the animal most closely associated with huge tiddies?!!! No freakin way!
Anyway, I'm posting this publicly, but I'll be sure to post extra, cropped versions, as well as include a lot of commentary, for my patrons later. But for now, I think I'll relax. So tired...
