May 2019 Status Update

Thanks everyone for another month of support on Patreon! I might have been one paid post short this month, but hopefully the release of the Snapzine Issue 11 balances things out. Anyway, here’s a bit of news on what’s to come.

Now that the rush to make paid content is over (for now), I plan to finally get to work on patron requests from both the voting poll and the $100 request list from April. That said, I’m also going to be out of town this weekend, but as I intend to bring my laptop, I should be able to finish them sometime next week. In the meantime, I’m going to start accepting suggesting for this month’s voting poll right now. It’s for patrons who’ve been charged only, so if you fit the bill, leave a comment below or send a private message with your suggestion if you’d like to make one. Requests will be in full color and feature up to two characters. If you’d like to reuse a suggestion from last month (excluding the winner), please be sure to let me know in a comment or private message. The suggestion period will end on May 10th at 12AM EST and the voting will begin later that day. 

Next, I’d like to remind everyone that I’ll be removing the $1 tier on June 7th. Please be sure to switch to a higher tier and set you monthly limit accordingly before then. Those who don’t switch once the tier is removed will be labeled as “no benefit” patrons. You’ll still receive links to paid posts, however you will not receive any links to other exclusives or any other rewards. I will send out reminders via messages as June gets closer. 

Also, for the June voting poll, I will be be adding extra voting perks for $100 patrons for the request polls. The perks are as follows: 

• -votes of patrons over $100 will count for double the amount.
• -patrons over $200 can vote for choices multiple times (must state how many votes go to each choice).
• -patrons over $300 can vote up to 5 times. 

Again, I will be applying these perks in June. As Patreon doesn’t let patrons know the total amount they’ve pledged to a creator, I’ll send messages out each month to let patrons know when they’ve reached the different $100 amounts. You’re also free to ask me personally as well via private message. 

Lastly, as far as content goes, I still haven’t even touched any comic works, so it’ll still be illustrations for this month until I get some extra sketching time.
