I wanted to say a genuine and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has joined our Patreon page through Monday Night War. It's been so amazing seeing the frankly overwhelming response, and we've been breaking all time Patreon numbers every week another episode gets uploaded, so thank you so much!
It's because of that support that we want to provide even more Monday Night War benefits to you here on Patreon, because you guys have helped ensure that we can keep coming back season after season. And who knows what will happen after Season 4 is over...
So what more would you guys want to see on Patreon? The 1 week early access and booking podcasts aren't going anywhere, we just want to provide more! We had previously toyed with doing an Uncut/Extended version - but we realised that we actually weren't really cutting anything substantial out of the episodes, so we wouldn't be providing any more value.
So what else would you want to see? Let us know your ideas in the comments - no idea is too wacky or crazy! Let us know your pipe dreams, more realistic ideas, anything at all, big or small, and we'll take it all on board and see what we can do.
We likely won't be introducing whatever benefit(s) we decide on right away in Season 4, it'll be saved for whatever comes next. Which could be anything, who knows?

You each book a week at a time and the others don’t know what you do or the outcome until it’s their turn. So say it goes Luke-Pete-Dan in the order, when it’s Dans first go he is booking week 3 with no idea of the roster, feuds, what’s worked so far etc. keep a time limit if you want but say 10 minutes? Only time anything can be discussed is after each PLE. Let the mayhem commence

I know these are booked in advance so it wouldn't let us decide when to play them and against whom, but it would put some new power in your hands. I think it would also be fun to see you guys create wrestlers of your own in the character creator, then draft them into My GM mode. Create some hideous monstrosities to stand against perfectly normal people like Cody or Big E.

The best part of this game comes in later seasons, which we don't really get to see with the rate of episodes we get now. Don't get me wrong, love all the content and know it would be a major time sink. But if we could maybe go to two episodes/week or double-booking episodes, that would get us closer to the best content.

Max 2 wrestlers *Smackdown Future investment- other players must each trade you $50,000 in exchange for $1,000

Big wheel with multiple match stips where you have to spin the wheel to decide what type of match your main event/opener will be. There can be 8 slots and Patreon members can pick/vote for what goes in the slots. Have a lvl 4 rivalry you wanted to save for the ppv? Too bad wheel says this will be a Steel Cage match. Stuff like that, could be fun.

For one week have Sullivan, or Tempest, or even Sat come in and take the controller off one of you for full control, while we watch the reactions of whoever they take over. Could put it to a vote to Patreon users as to who loses out. Maybe even a vote for them to support or to sabotage

2024-05-02 00:10:48 +0000 UTCIs there really anything "more" in terms of content that can be added to the Monday Night War series and concept that would be patreon exclusives? I think what most people want is to have multiple seasons of the same save so we can get to unlock extra things that we can't get in one season. But that isn't patreon related, we just need it to be an all year thing so we get 50 weeks to get through 2 seasons before the new game comes out and this game and save file is abandoned. The live streams where 5 weeks are done in one sitting are also a way to get through more weeks and seasons. But again, not patreon exclusive, it's just getting through more of the same, but quicker. It looks like MNW episodes are getting double the views of Raw/Dynamite review podcasts on YT, so there's no reason to not make it a regular weekly all year round feature of the channel as it's probably generating reasonable revenues, which was the original concern from season 1. It's also the only content on the channel that isn't time sensitive so episodes can be filmed in advance and banked to be shown weeks or months later. (As opposed to news/reviews/predictions that need to be filmed in real time), so it seems like good diversity for the channel too. Others have said book 2 weeks per episode, which could work too and we'll get through those multiple seasons each year before the new game comes out.

I used to love the 'interviews' that Pete and Luke used to do on the original Monday Night War series and that'd be another fun wrinkle to bring back especially with Dan aswell.

For me, at the heart of it all, is more content: - Video BTS podcast, released 1-3 days behind the Early Access MNW release - multiple season play-throughs per year + (multiple episodes per week OR an additional round of booking per episode) - Least Impactful, but appreciated: uncensored versions. maybe patreon exclusive, if necessary

Having the person in first place only get 5 mins, 2nd place 6 mins and last place 7 mins, as a pressure/catch up balancer could add some chaos 2. Agree with a lot of the other comments that the booking podcast should line up with the patreon release, not the youtube release. 3. A fourth CPU on expert to keep you on your toes and offer AI trades in that window would be interesting as well. 4. Continuing past season 1, it gets a lot more interesting with bigger budgets/rosters and more of the logistics unlocked.

Not sure if this would be through a series, or a big video essay, or maybe something like a timeline. I guess the real question is: who would want to put themselves through that! it’s a silly idea but it might be fun to relive just how bad things were, how bad past decisions were, and give good background knowledge to the (supposed) 48% audience increase WWE audiences have :)

Play some matches (this could even be some kind of power card, you each start with 2 'play the match' power cards which you can force to be used on any match (your show or an opponents). 2. Show the season 2 draft (could play the season too, but would be interesting to see how you'd react to the draft picks at the very least). 3. A team season where two players play together on each team to add a new dynamic. 4. A team of you vs the computer on expert mode. 5. Share your notes with us us each week, it would be interesting (and I expect hilarious) to see your mad dash scrawlings.

My three thoughts would be: 1) Play beyond the first season-- MYGM has different challenges beyond the first season, it would be fun to see how your league evolves. Maybe a bonus season for patron that is a continuation, and a reset for the public? 2) I would love to see you add a 4th player that is the "Extreme" level computer. They are HARD, I think it would be fun to see you all compete against them. 3) Since you can play matches, maybe a power card that makes it so that you could turn a simulated match into a playable match and make the GM have to wrestle to get the outcome they want?

The game gets more fun (IMO) when you have the money to do crazy stuff and sign the big legend stars and develop the local talent into legends. It takes time. Also, you’ll find out that Pete was right all along and technically the ratings are the thing that put you in first place in HHH’s eyes. 😂

But I also want to see the game played well! 4 seasons in and Luke still doesn't understand basic concepts like Title matches cost more stamina. So adding a 4th person could be better or worse. The show is great, and the fuckery has a real Three Stooges vibe (in a good way!) The chemistry and riffing is great. "He Dan'd it" still makes me laugh. But besides expanding to 4 GMs, I don't know what else to add.

2024-04-30 17:14:55 +0000 UTCI remember Dan mentioning in a recent episode that he wanted to go “watch the film” to make sure his notes were filled out with the proper information. What I’m trying to say is that I think it’d be beneficial for maybe the first week of the show after a PLE, after trading, you guys extend your booking by 1-3 minutes to do some admin (sign free agents, check in seasonal/HOF goals, power cards, logistics, take note of health, current/future grivalries, etc.) With the game having so many new features now, admin seems to be a concern week after week. Every other week can be back to 7 minutes. (For the absolute chaos of it, I’d like to see PLEs down to 5 or 6 minutes. There’s no benefit to it, it would make your guys’ booking harder, but it would make a hilarious viewing experience in that last minute or so lol.)

2024-04-30 16:47:01 +0000 UTCTwo things for me 1- 4 people for MyGM 2- live stream for PLE with no time limit to give opportunity for each one to have the chance to reevaluate and consider what is needed for the draft because someone might have for example spa card and can take someone with low stamina and do a new feud or you might want to get someone of the roster for his moral to go and restart his moral on someone else brand 3- this is more of an opinion but I think if someone is late for booking a show he will need to accept a draft option from one of the winner and the draft need to be equal in value so no-one lose too much and champions are acceptable. Maybe you can think on the idea and tweak it and add more rules

The only thing I can say is the booking podcast comes out with the sane episode on here and a 4th episode. A possibility would be you pick one superstar on your roster that was there from start to finish and Craft the most cohesive narrative for your matches and the results. Or you go through either one or two ple cycles, or the full season, and in a much shorter more broad fashion build out the narrative that you booked on your show for either that cycle or that season. Demonstrate variety in types of storytelling and have the most consistent quality of narrative. Winner gets first pick next season. I think that could be a fun way to wrap up and look back on the season and also possibly have Lu- I mean whoever eventually finishes last Get a second shot at a positive result for the season.

It'd be interesting to see how far everyone diverges off that line, and I've always been curious as to what and how you write your notes! Add to that maybe a predictions contest, where you guess how many power cards get used, who spends the most over the season etc.

I’d also like some variety in the over time power cards instead of just losing a minute. Some kind of escalation or variety there. Like one of your opponents plays their music in your headphones as you book. Or another GM books your opener.

I get that could get tedious fast for you guys, but seeing your reactions in the longer format would be fun. Then you could cut those bits for the regular YouTube version, which creates and extended/uncut version for Patrons. It could also open up another type of GM power for timing overages or other fouls, such as having the opposing GMs actually play the match and you're stuck with the outcome they dictate for said match. Not sure of the feasibility but there is a nugget of an idea there.
