Also underrated flaw in this match: it starts with Dolph and Wade, probably the two best workers in the match at this point in everyone's career. And it is dreadfully boring.

Bless his heart, I genuinely believe David was following the direction given to him, and was good at projecting the character of "creepy, spoiled, degenerate rebel." That said, the story just had absolutely no legs to it. None at all. And even if it did, David just didn't have the body language to get it there.

I watched this show at a watch party with about 90 Wrestling fans and indie wrestlers after an indie show and the experience of this match was just fascinating. Some people were in horror, some were laughing out loud for minutes and most of us were just confused as hell.
