super late but i took a huge break from wrestling but came back in large part bc mania was in philly near where i live so i could go. this was the first singles match ive ever seen from either uso. i texted my friend mid match “this is hilarious do they just kick each other??” i didn’t comprehend how bad what i was watching was. sami gunther changed my life though so worth easily

He has super kick, somoan drop, hit attack, splash and a AWFUL spear. He does almost nothing else and it's just boring as hell to watch. I'm enjoying Big Jim more than YEET at the moment before mania.

2025-03-24 04:43:56 +0000 UTCI migh be bias, because I'm a pretty huge Kairi/Asuka fan, but seeing there being multiple occasions of Damage Control being 1v3'd by either Bianca or Jade - baring in mind the Kabuki Warriors were the tag champs at the time, just... really annoyed me. I haaated the booking of that match, because I didn't feel it made Bianca or Jade look strong, it just made the Damage Control trio look real weak.

Testament v The Pride I didn't mind too much because Snoop Dogg on commentary made me laugh, but the actual match itself was probably worse than Uce vs Uce.

The Final Testement vs The Pride, the US Title Triple Threat, and my personal least favourite, Damage Control vs Bianca & co, were less enjoyable to watch. Definitely wasn't a great match, but I don't think it's as bad as people make out. Absolutely nowhere near the worst wrestlemania match ever.

This match had none of those things and it really needed them. I don't hate the match, I am just disappointed that they didn't shine they way they can.

2025-03-22 15:14:00 +0000 UTCas someone who attended mania, it didn't help them tha 1) it was freezing out so the last thing anyone wanted to do was throw their arms out to yeet 2) the lights were on pointing in the crowd, so a lot of the crowd couldn't see very well 3) DUDE WIPES IS SO MUCH EASIER TO CHANT THAN BOTH YEET AND NO YEET

I am happy for Jey's current push because he clearly works hard but good lord. This man has less animations than a Mortal Kombat 1 character.
