Jackary Archives Day 199 + Daily Discussion - Peach

Today's Archives post is a nude portrait of Peach from 2023(?). Enjoy!

DAILY[ish] DISCUSSION

[Note: it is my intention to reply to all comments in discussion threads; if your comment from a previous post has gone unanswered, I will likely get to it eventually in my own time even if I've made additional posts since]

For the next few discussions, I'd like to do a retrospective of sorts on 2024! So I'll be asking some questions about your year, starting with this:

What was your personal game of 2024? (This can be a game that came out in 2024, but it doesn't have to be!)

Origins is my favorite, but I have really enjoyed all of them

I mean, from what I’ve seen, it’s really only Ryza that was mostly fanservice heavy. The rest of them look quite modest in character designs , so I’d say you could play most of the games without much ridicule

I've only ever played the first one! Which Dragon Age has been your favorite?

Zach H

maaaaaaaan these games look so cozy question: how much of these games do you suppose you could get away with playing in front of normies without them judging you

Zach H

tbh I didn't game a whole lot this last year either. Barely touched anything new aside from Rebirth. I'd say the majority of my gaming has been playing Advance Wars at night before bed trying so S rank missions haha - which makes Reboot Camp UNDOUBTEDLY my GOTY, I've been having so much fun with it

I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH PRAISE FOR STARDEW VALLEY

I feel like my first play through was like 40-46 hours. That included doing all the side quests and collectibles. I ended up starting another play through recently when the Nier Automata dlc was released. Such an awesome game…really fun to play.

Like the tabletop miniatures version? I'm terrified of stepping into that rabbit hole...

Zach H

You've made me want to try this game! I may just pick it up if it goes on sale at any point... Also if you like this Peach you should check out my twitter or bluesky if you haven't already... 👀

How long does it take to get through Stellar Blade? I've considered trying it out but haven't gotten around to it haha

Zach H

SaGa 2. Couldn't beat it as a kid, finally trounced it.

I just finished Atelier Ryza 2 and started playing 3 after buying it on sale. Atelier Ryza jumpstarted my love for the series. It feels like the Atelier series just goes unnoticed at times as I rarely ever hear/see anything about the series. They are fun games and have pretty good stories that I wish more people would play and see. I'm trying to finish Ryza 3 before Atelier Yumia gets released in a couple of months so I can just roll right into it.

My 2024 game was Stellar Blade. I've played through it like 5 times already. My backup even though it has been out for quite a while is Fallout New Vegas. I just keep coming back to both of these games and having fun with them.

Unicorn Overlord! I’m not sure it got the attention it really deserved. Also, she’s gorgeous and I love her! Need a whole series of this Peach

Started playing warhammer in 2024

My personal game of 2024 was prrrrooobably Stardew Valley. A friend of mine got it for me early in the year and it's been my go-to cozy game ever since 😌😌

I hinestly dont think I have a persinal gane of 2024. I dont think I beat any games either. I really didnt game much. Maybe TEKKEN 8 because it brought me closer to a lot of great people

PolkuCow (Josef)

I think my personal game of 2024 was Atelier Ryza 3. That was probably the game that stuck with me the most, I had such a great time with it Once I played those 3 games with Ryza I picked up as many entries in the series as I could, just so I can experience the rest of the series in the future

Sturgess1A

My personal game of 2024 was Dragon Age: Veilguard. I had a lot of fun with it.
