To the end where she is now. It’s her entire life. NOT ATW short film, it’s a metaphor. There are no actors, it’s all in her mind/memories as she looks back. It’s my interpretation that fits TTPD, which is not about Jake but is reflective of her life and career in many songs.

I'm so happy you enjoyed it! This was her first short film but she has directed many/most of her own music videos since her Lover era. (Aka, as soon as she left Big Machine Records and signed with Universal Music Group to own all of her work). There's also a behind the scenes video of the filming of this where you can see how hands on she is for the entire process down to editing. She has behind the scenes videos for a lot of her music videos, actually. It is also highly speculated/rumored that she will be directing a feature film soon but who knows when she has the time for that???
