Hated by the fae, elven society, and druidic community, this sword is condemned as an act of desecration and cruelty on fae creatures as well as mother nature herself. Under the beautiful petal hilt is a hellish contraption that was designed to lure, capture, and trap sprite, fairy, or pixie. The contraption will torture the captured fae, forcing it to curse its own nature, and endlessly siphoning life energy from any living creature it touches and in close proximity to the sword. As it gathers enough energy, the petals will bloom to reveal the wailing creature inside. The wails are comparable to that of a Banshee, but it doesn’t just affect creatures, it also affects plants and even the undead, because the wail interferes with both life and arcane energy. Although the wielder is unaffected by the wail, to use and maintain its power, they have to sacrifice their own life energy to the sword as well.
