Trial of Ink - Day 3 - Hybird

Snailbear

Ursalimacis gulosa
Created around a couple hundred years ago as a result of a chimeric experiment, Snailbear has adapted to their current habitat, the northern valley of the Latani mountain, and manage to populate the area for several generations now. It was created by crossing local Giant Iron Shell Snail, and Grizzly Bear in order to combine the snail’s extremely durable skin, fast regeneration, with the grizzly bear’s ferocity, strength, and intelligence. Although they manage to create a giant snail with multiple clawed appendages, fast regeneration, skin and shell as strong as a dragon scale, as well as strength and size that can rival a giant, Snailbear turn out to be a lazy omnivore that prefers to consume moss, tree bark, berries, and other plants. that was the reason why it was considered a failed specimen and carelessly released by the creator. Despite being quite docile, its ravenous appetite becomes a problem, especially because turns out the fast regeneration was supercharged and affecting its growth, allowing it to grow continuously through out their life.

Well, this one is just silly, there's several other idea I had in mind, but I found a better prompt for those XD

And also... I decided not to be too strict with my schedule for this year, since apparently this year other projects has quite stricter schedule compared to last year. SO, if I can finish it in one day, I will. But if I'm too tired, I'm gonna take more time. therefore this year inktober might continue through November, but I will finish it properly (hopefully).

This one took me about 6-8 hour. I don't usually finish everything in one day since I have to split my schedule to work on other project. (usually finish lineart today, then switch to work on other project, then go back to finish the inking tomorrow), but for this challenge, I'm challenging my self to do it in one go. (although in the end I decided to go a bit easy on myself when needed)

May I ask you a little about the schedule. How much does it take you to draw such an illustration? I'm a little shocked by your ability to work, draw such a volume every day. I'm a novice illustrator and my illustration (100 times easier) will take the whole day))

Darya Antipina

I think if I end up rushing and not enjoying myself nor learning anything, it'll be pointless. :D

Sinlaire

Taking your time and not rushing yourself is good 😁👌
