Blitz Viper

Anguivoltii fulmineus

Blitz Viper is a demi-elemental creature that can be found in Latani Mountain. It's a member of the genus Anguilementae, or the elemental serpent; a group of serpent that mutated into half-elemental because of the influence of nearby dimensional rift to the elemental plane. Blitz Viper has the ability to not just store a large amount of electrical energy inside its body, but also temporarily turn itself into a lightning bolt for a split second to jump from one place to another and ambush its prey. It can deliver an electric shock to its prey by either coiling its body around the prey or through non-venomous fangs that allow it to deliver a lethal amount of electric current directly into its prey. It gathers electricity by storing the static electricity produced whenever it moves or by attracting lightning strikes during a storm, which is why people often spot Blitz Viper on top of the highest tree extending its body toward the sky while producing spark of electricity during a storm.

Originally, I made a sketch concept featuring a cat that can blitz around in a form of lightning bolt before I realize that I basically made Pikachu XD

So I change the form but keeping the lightning bolt aspect, and voila, Blitz Viper~ :D
