Hi Zhivago!
Added 2022-04-28 21:04:48 +0000 UTCI was bringing Zhivago an egg. We’re best friends, I just haven’t told him yet!
Both Mikayla and I have made huge progress with Zhivago - he has been with us since 2018 and has been completely terrified but now, we can both hand him food and he rarely if ever hisses at us now. We don’t need him to be a lap raccoon, but it certainly makes us feel better knowing he feels safe and far less stressed when we do need to interact with him.
Also! Apologies for the slightly blurry pics. The light wasn’t great and he’s pretty nippy when he wants to be - I just really wanted to share this progress with you all.

Aww, he's a raccoon. Cute :) There's actually a big raccoon who scares the feral cats who struts around at night flanked by two smaller racoons. I've seen them a few times and it actually makes them look like mobsters but I'm sure that racoons, just like foxes, are just misunderstood animals.
