Teacup update!!!
Added 2024-08-12 23:03:49 +0000 UTCHey everyone! It's Kaytee here with some good news. Teacup, Tilty, and Funguy are out of quarantine!!!
Although things didn't go quite as we hoped, all three foxes are out of their quarantine cages and are in much bigger outdoor enclosures.
Teacup and Tilty are actual sisters and shared a small cage together on the furfarm. We rescued Tilty first due to a massive ear infection which caused her head to permanently tip to the side, but we didn't have the room right away to take her sister. So it had been a few months since the two saw each other. We put them in quarantine enclosures side by side and they were happy to see one another, we had a lot of family calls and just general excited fox sounds. It made us hopeful that the girls could go into an enclosure together. Sadly, that wasn't the case today and they fought. Both of them are okay but for now we do have to keep them separate, hopefully we can do slower reintroductions and get the two back together. :)
