v1.0 Progress Log 2.

On the previous log I talked about the writing related stuff, and how the goal for this month was to code the events. Unfortunately, that didn't go quite as planned.

At the time of writing the previous progress log, I had the written script of the events so to speak, but I forgot to mention that I hadn't actually translated them into dialogue yet. This wasn't supposed to be a problem, since the plan was for it to take a couple of weeks to do the translating, and then another two weeks of coding the events, which would've been right on schedule. However, it turned out to be so much more dialogue than expected. To put into perspective, the events found during level 5 are the longest ones in the current build of the game, only being shorter than level up events. However, with a couple minor exceptions, every single event during level 6 is longer than it's level 5 counterpart. The majority of events are roughly 25% longer than their level 5 counterparts, but then there's cases like the bathhouse working activity, where the total dialogue interaction count for level 5 is 120, but for level 6 is at 300. Making it essentially the length of a level up event.

I wasn't particularly expecting level 6 to have so much more dialogue, than level 5. That one is on me for miscalculating.

The main problem was level 6. Level 7 has been a lot faster, and I'm currently wrapping it up. But that's all I'll say about it, since level 7 is a whole other subject. I'll be talking about it in full detail once the coding is done for it, as there are some really specific and unique things about that level which should be fun to detail in the next progress log.

Another problem was that the first half of the month was rather busy, and I was barely able to do any deving during that time. Had that not been the case, today's progress log would've looked a lot different.

So, the bad news is that it'll take a little longer than expected to finish this step, but on the flip side, it's taking longer because there's quite a lot of content in these last two levels.

This is a rather short progress log. The goal of finishing the coding for the events is now the goal for October.
