WEEKLY POST - March 30th 2025 - The Cutting of Elise Dubois

New Tier!

So, if you haven't seen it yet, I'm gonna reiterate it here, but I've added a new cheaper Tier to my Patreon which only gives access to the Weekly Posts like this one, for those who don't wanna spend too much on my work but still want to support the development of the game. I think it's a solid option that doesn't compromise the other tiers.

I hope this works out, because I wanna keep working on the game! Right now, however, the whole Patreon thing is just not working great, so I need to find other small things every week to make a living, which impacts my productivity.

Where's Elise Dubois?

ANYWAY, that being said, I've been working on the (soon to be) animated sprite for Dr Elise Dubois.

It's not yet finished, but in the above video, I show y'all where I'm at. Basically, I'm still in the process of cutting her into pieces, of isolating all her parts to make sure I can animate her without her looking uncanny (which is harder that it looks).

What I still need to do is prepare all the pieces for her alternate hands and mouths. I should be done with that in the next 24hrs. Then I'm gonna move to the actual animation process in Live2D, which should go fairly quick in comparison, and then we're guchi!

What's next?

Once the animated sprite for Elise Dubois in her labcoat is done, I'll have a couple of simpler non-animated sprites I'll want to do, the intro animation bit I wanna do (which should be fairly easy to do in comparison with a bigger sprite like Elise Dubois).

Once all of that is done, I'm gonna be free to do the actual code and dialogue for the Prologue.

I would like to start re-making the NSFW FMG animated sprites for Ch1 Elena as soon as possible, but I think I will need to have done the biggest part of the prologue's writing to make sure the changes I do to the actual scene in Elena's apartment make sense. The opposite could easily get dicey and awkward. I wanna make sure I pay extra attention to the changes I make.

As soon as I can (maybe even next week, but no promises), I would like to start producing NSFW images for all of you. My current thinking is that it will likely be non-canon FMG sequences of Elena and/or Elise Dubois.
I will probably post those in the section of the Discord server that'll only be available to Hobz & Gobz. This would be to avoid risks of Patreon throwing ban-hammers at my face.
