Story events!

Hello everyone! So I decided that instead of finishing the dumb cow ending I’m going to add some story driven court events, basically meaning that they’ll follow a story over several recurring events with different outcomes based on your actions. I have three thought up at the moment.

The Emerald dragoness – A Emerald dragoness has taken up residence in your kingdom, she’s demanding a large amount of food every week or she’ll start burning villages, farms, castles and churches down. Depending on who the player has in their court will determine the options the player can do. Charles/Catrain will propose capturing the dragoness, Sarah will propose building a mechanism to either kill or if Annette has her workshop the mechanism will fatten the dragoness, May/Strengmann will suggest befriending the dragoness, and Vanessa will propose inviting the dragoness to the castle to negotiate with her. Each outcome will have its own short story line of two to three events spread over several in-game days, some will be longer than others.

The worst deal ever – You get news that a nearby kingdom has been annexed, this kingdom and yours had a very lucrative trade deal. The kingdom that annexed it offers to continue the trade deal but with some new terms. The terms are presented to you by a goblin girl, you and the other kingdom will go back and forth with negotiations for a while before the goblin will give you food laced with something that will make you more agreeable. Most of the story for this event focuses on the goblin girl and what you chose to do with her after this.

The roads aren't safe! – You get the news that a band of orcs have set up in your kingdom and have started raiding and pillaging the countryside and major roads. Charles/Catrain/Strengmann will propose sending out a military detachment to deal with these rabble rousers, Khantarus/Sarah will propose building armored and armed wagons to accompany merchants, May will suggest offering the orcs citizenship so they can get jobs instead of robbing people, and Vanessa will propose inviting the orc’s leader to the castle to negotiate with her.
