Game dairy: 002

Hello everyone! It's been about a week or two since I last made one of these and some things have been altered and added from the last post, mostly just with time frames. I have no idea if I can get a demo out by the end of this month, I'm going to aim to get one out, but I realized that the intro alone, not even finished, is 15% the size of the original. For reference that is a little over 54,000 words, or 120 pages of content. Mind you some of this is code, but 75% at least of it is content, which is fucking crazy! I had no idea until I looked at the word count of the game. Considering the size of the original intro, and assuming that I roughly put in the same amount of detail to every other part of the game, by the time I get everything added from the original into the revamp the game could very well expand to 600,000 words conservatively, or over a million. To put that in prospective that's 1,300 pages of content for 600,000 words or 2,200 pages of content for a million words. That would make my game have more words than the fucking bible! My point being; this is going to be a monster of a game! Anyhow, rant out of the way, lets talk about what's being worked on, what has been changed and what's been planned.

Right now I'm still working on the intro, which has been completely changed from the original. If you've read the intro teaser I put out you probably noticed Gabriela is a new character. Gabriela has been added as the queen personal dresser and care taker. So, if you need bathing, dressing or cleaning she is the one to help you. You also might have noticed that she is quite to character. We already have some spicy story lines planned out for her, so, keep an eye on those.

Right now we have planned out about 7 of her planed 15 story events. I'm not going to really touch on these as they're still in early development and there still a long ways to be even being added as I have to still get the game in a working state.

Charles has been reworked completely. He was originally just a self insert as I couldn't be fucked to come up with a male aide that no body would use. My artist however pointed out that it would probably be a good idea to work on him anyways for those who want to have a male aide, which is what we did. We renamed him to Rodrick, changed his story a bit, changed his appearance and we have some fun plans for him. Rodrick: 

We also have a special intro that can randomly trigger with some special art. It'll be a 1/3 chance to trigger, just to make sure it's not too hard to trigger. All you have to do is be obese. What is it you might ask? Well, lets just say it involves the queen and a not particularly wide stairwell.
